Soy un artista italiano-venezolano que vive ahora en Mallorca. Estudié diseño gráfico en la Academia de Bellas Artes de Nápoles. El diseño gráfico ha influido en mis trabajos artísticos en términos de la inmediatez y el dinamismo en la entrega de mensajes, por lo que en mi trabajo siempre miro el tamaño de la superficie que estoy usando, y mido los colores para dar el equilibrio correcto entre el blanco, el negro y los colores primarios del árbol. Lo que encuentro interesante en el proceso de la pintura es la capacidad de extraer de una forma abstracta, casual y ordinaria, algo fantástico y extraordinario donde las líneas pueden contar historias y el color puede evocar emociones. Mi investigación artística personal comienza en primer lugar desde dentro de mi mente, mi intestino, con una chispa que crea un fuego de mirar, sentir, tocar... experimentando todo de manera diferente. Hay una inspiración que viene de la naturaleza de las cosas tal como son, simplemente miro algo que es atractivo, que atrae mi curiosidad, y luego comienzo el proceso de explorar y experimentar con técnicas o estilos que me ayudan a liberar las ideas, los conceptos y la historia de los que quiero hablar con la gente, y tal vez, darles también, una pequeña chispa para mirar el mundo un poco diferente. Los materiales que utilizo son diferentes tipos de papel o lienzo, y también los colores que utilizo varían desde el acrílico, acrílico fluido, hasta tintas de linóleo, rotuladores, acuarelas, tintas para serigrafía, etc.

I’am an italian-venezuelan artist based now in Mallorca. I studied graphic design at the fine arts academy of Naples. Graphic design has influenced my artistic works in terms of with the immediacy and dynamism to delivering messages, so in my work I always look at the size of the surface that I am using, and measure the colors in order to give the right balance between white, black and the tree primary colors. What I find interesting in the process of painting is the ability to extract from an abstract, casual and ordinary shape, something fantastic and extraordinary where lines can tell stories and color can evoke emotions. My personal artistic research starts first of all from within my mind, my gut, with a spark that creates a fire of looking, feeling, touching...experiencing everything differently. There is an inspiration that comes from the nature of things as they are, I simply look at something that is attractive, that catches my curiosity, and then I start the process of exploring and experimenting with techniques or styles that help me to release the ideas the concepts and the story that I want to talk about with people, and maybe, give them too, a little spark to look at the world a bit differently. The materials that I use are different kinds of paper or canvas, and also the colors I use vary from acrylic, fluids acrylic, to linoleum inks, felt tip pens, water colors, serigraphy inks, and so on.
