Me llamo Saralene Tapley. Soy una artista irlandesa-americana, y me acabo de mudar al área de Houston desde la ciudad de Nueva York.  Viví en el área de la ciudad de Nueva York durante tres años. Me mudé allí desde Houston, Texas, donde viví durante 9 años, para recibir mi MFA de la Academia de Arte de Nueva York. Anteriormente viví en Dublín, Irlanda, durante 9 años y en Londres, Inglaterra, durante 1 año. Terminé mi BFA en el Colegio Nacional de Arte y Diseño de Dublín. Al mudarme a Texas, completé mi Master en Artes y Humanidades en la Universidad de Houston - Clear Lake.
Mi infancia fue muy colorida. Viví en los Estados Unidos hasta los once años y luego me mudé a Taiwán y Corea donde terminé la escuela secundaria. Todavía mantengo relaciones con mis amigos de la infancia, aunque muchos de ellos están repartidos por todo el mundo. Tengo dos hermanos y una hermana.

My name is Saralene Tapley. I am an Irish-American artist, and I just moved back to the Houston area from NYC.  I lived in The New York City Area for three years. I moved there from Houston, Texas, where I lived for 9 years, to receive my MFA from the New York Academy of Art. Previous to that I lived in Dublin, Ireland for 9 years and London, England for 1 year. I finished my BFA in Dublin’s National College of Art and Design. Upon moving to Texas, I completed my Masters in Arts and Humanities at University of Houston – Clear Lake.
My childhood was very colorful. I lived in the United States until I was eleven and then moved to Taiwan and Korea where I finished secondary school. I still maintain relationships with my childhood friends even though many of them are spread around the globe. I have 2 brothers and 1 sister.
